HealthMate is a personal health tracking application designed for Android devices. It helps you track body measurements, blood sugar levels, set health reminders, and generate health reports — all stored privately on your phone.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled within the app, how it is stored, and your rights as a user.

📱 2. Information We Store Locally

The following health data is stored only on your device using a local SQLite database:

• All data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device, inside the app's private storage directory.
• No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
• Data is protected by Android's built-in app sandboxing — other apps cannot access it.
• Generated PDF reports are only shared when you explicitly tap "Generate & Share" and choose a recipient.
• Deleting the app permanently removes all data stored by HealthMate.

🔔 4. Device Permissions

HealthMate requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features:

You may deny notification permissions at any time via Android Settings. Core health tracking features work without any permissions.

👤 5. No Account Required

HealthMate does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal identification. The app functions entirely without an internet connection.

🌐 6. Internet & Third-Party Services

HealthMate does not use the internet for any core functionality. The app does not include:

• Analytics SDKs (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics)
• Advertising SDKs
• Third-party cloud storage or sync services
• Social media integrations

The only external network activity is when you choose to share a PDF report — the share action is handled by your Android system's share sheet, and the file goes directly to the app you select.

👶 7. Children's Privacy

HealthMate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has entered health data into the app, you may delete it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

✏️ 8. Your Rights & Data Control

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible within the app at any time.
• Export: Generate a PDF report from the Reports screen to export your data.
• Delete (specific records): Swipe or tap the delete icon on any record to remove it.
• Delete (all data): Go to Android Settings → Apps → HealthMate → Storage → Clear Data.
• Delete (permanent): Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently.
